A Thank You From Mozambique
The following is a email message we received from a missionary team working in Mozambique. One of their missionaries gracefully volunteered to take 200 kits from the US to the field.
This email serves to thank you for your kindness on us women of Mozambique. I
received the pads with sister Molly who is in Mozambique. I thank her for
accepting to carry these large bags for all this long way from US to
Mz.
I will destribute to the women at Chicuque where we will meet this weekend for
a workshop. These pads are very important to our women as you may know that the
majority of them are poor and they are not able to buy when they need.

Mozambique November 2010 Update
An update from a partner Received 11/29/2010:
On behalf of the Women's Organization in Mozambique South Confernece I
thank you for this partnership between our conferences. These pads are
transforming people's level of living. I am distributing them to women who
are very vunlnerable, we have young girls of 11 to 18 years of ages who are
living with their grandparents and they are not able to buy them pads when
the have period.
For the last two months i had an opportunity to participate at women's
conferences in the three district here in Maputo, so i took one pad so that
I could show the women the need to make this kind of pads so that we cans
just set an unsignificant price that will be affordable to the women who
need. So that when time comes where you will not be able to send us from
the USA we will continue having pads with us, the project will not die,
they accepted the idea.
Women in Mozambique are thankfull for this uncalculated gift from you, we
appreciate your oppened hearts towards us. May this lesson continue with us
so that one day we may be able to assist others who will be in need.
